He was predeceased by: his father Clayton Powell. He is survived by: his mother Linda Powell (Shutts); his brother David Powell of Stuyvesant, NY; his pet Riley; his cousins, Terri Haigh (Scott), Ron Jr. Plass (Lisa), Patrick, James Clark (Melissa), Paul, Marissa Myers, Paige, Stuart and Spencer Allen (Camille); and his aunt Tami. He is also survived by Aunts & Uncles.
