It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christy Harris D'Ambrosio of Albany, New York, born in Phoenix, Arizona, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christine Harris and Harry Harris; and her sister Roberta Harris. She is survived by: her husband Ray Newkirk; her sons, Michael D'Ambrosio (Ren Tarpley) and John D'Ambrosio (Madeline Tricozzi); her grandson Matthew D'Ambrosio; her stepdaughter Sarah Newkirk (Steve Munch); her stepgrandchildren, Logan and Orion Newkirk; her stepdaughters, Rachel Newkirk and Leah Newkirk (Matt Lang); and her stepgrandsons, Alexander and Jacob Lang.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McVeigh Funeral Home (208 N Allen St, Albany, NY 12206). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (362 State St, Albany, NY 12210).
