He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Sr. Burns and Annie Burns. He is survived by: his pets, Hercules and Pansy Mae; his wife Debra; his children, Tiessia, Nasha, Marquez, John (Nafeesha) and Jose; his grandson Jahaziel; his siblings, Glendora and Sabrina (Gary); his father-in-law John E. Martinez; and his siblings-in-law, Diana, Dolly (Sally), Denise and Dana (Jenny). He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Chick's memory may be made to the Albany Medical Center or St. Peter's Hospital Oncology Departments.
