With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ava Elaine Charne of Albany, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her significant other Vinny Avellino; her daughters, Tina Ponce and Robyn Isman; her sons-in-law, Dave Isman and Rob Ponce; her siblings, Allen Charne, Fonda Charne, Ted Brown, Rosemary Ragule and Diane Avellino; and her grandchildren, Hazel, Rafi, Levi Isman and Liza Ponce. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ava's memory to To Life (http://www.tolife.org.), an organization close to our hearts, which provides breast cancer support and women's health education in the Capital Region.
