He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Berg and Jane Berg; his children, Vera, Sam Valenti of Rome and Thomas J. Berg, Jr. of Schuyler; his grandsons, Michael and Nicholas; his close friend Connie Simmons (Cassville); his brothers, Michael Berg of Alabama and Brian; his siblings-in-law, Linda Berg of Whitesboro, Joanne Berg of Ogdensburg, NY, Laurel, John Castano of Whitesboro, Lucia, Mark Gibson of Virginia, Tom and Jennifer Williams of Syracuse; his close friend Kevin "Skippy" Leach; his wife Cindy Berg; his brother Bobby Berg; and his brother-in-law John Williams. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heintz Funeral Home (408 Herkimer Rd, Utica, NY 13502).
