He was predeceased by: his son James Edward Hulsey, Jr.; his parents, Brady Hulsey and Velma Hulsey; and his siblings, Ellis, Ernest, William, Roger Hulsey, Lucille Hulsey Davidson, Sybil Hulsey Payne, Elizabeth Hulsey Banks and Shirley Hulsey Kilgore.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Glover Hulsey; his daughters, Donna Prater (Mike), Rome, Nora Chandler (John), Rebecca Keaton and Kennesaw; his sister Bernice Hulsey Walker; and his grandchildren, Emily Stapelton, Jennifer Smith, Thomas Wheeler, Caleb Pratet, Kirk Yardley, Joe Yardley, Isabella Keaton and Eli Keaton. He is also survived by 5 Great Grandchildren.

When the blizzard of’93 came and we lost power, you had us come over and stay with you. My kids, especially, Hannah loved chatting away to Mr. Jim. Know that our prayers are with you.
