He was predeceased by: his grandsons, Trey Mitchell McDonald and Raun Mitchell Jr.; his brother William "Billy" Mitchell; and his significant other Charlene Cole. He is survived by: his children, Patty Ransom (Wilson), Leigh-Ann Sawatis (Paul) and Raun Mitchell; his grandchildren, Krystian (Evan), Brady, Jordy, Kamryn, Toryn, Briley, Kasey, Alexia and Kayle; his great grandchildren, Hayden and Vayla; his siblings, Wayne Mitchell (Betty), Wesley Laughing (Margaret) and Wanda Patterson (Robert); and his sister-in-law Peggy Mitchell. He is also survived by many aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
