With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Swamp of Akwesasne, New York, born in London, Ontario, who passed away on December 8, 2021 at the age of 61. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Leonard and Rosemary Swamp (Chrisjohn). He is survived by: his daughter Teyha Wensauer of Malone; his grandchildren, Cannon Wensauer and Isabelle Point; and his brothers, Allan of Akwesasne and John "Toni" Swamp (Kamie) of Akwesasne. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
