He was predeceased by: his parents, Sandra Terrance (Diebow) and Phillip Terrance; the mother of his children Mary Papineau; his son Phillip Terrance Jr.; his siblings, Cindy Smoke and Scott Terrance; his grandson Richard "Dickie" Oakes, Jr.; and his sister Jessica Terrance of Akwesasne.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Terrance of Akwesasne, Isaac Terrance (Jamie) of Akwesasne, Jamie Jock (Cory) of Akwesasne, Robyn Terrance (Trevor Skidders) of Akwesasne and April Terrance (Dylan Miller) of Akwesasne; his grandchildren, Blaze, C. S. Kash, Blade, Kuylin, Isaac Jr., Sophia, Winter, Temperance, Cory Jr., Ella, Embry, Trevor Jr., Adleigh, Willa and Elowen; and his sister-in-law Tina Terrance of Akwesasne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
