He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Francis and Christie Francis (Jacobs); and his siblings, Jacob, Louie, Abraham, Joseph, Mose Francis, Charlotte Oakes, Louise Gould and Helen Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Francis of Akwesasne, Deborah Francis of Akwesasne, Eric Armstrong of Akwesasne, Josh of Akwesasne and Kathleen Francis of Akwesasne; and his sisters, Marjorie King of St. Regis and Beatrice A. Lazore of St. Regis. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
