Pauline Cook Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2021, at the age of 90, Pauline Cook of Akwesasne, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Jacobs and Cecile "Sadie" Jacobs Jocko (Sharrow); her husband Vernon Nelson "Tony" Cook; her children, Lori Sue Cook, Vanessa A. Cook, Joseph Francis Cook and Vincent George Cook; her son-in-law John Nolan; her daughter Elvira Cook; and her brothers, Benjamin Jacobs, Henry and Albert Jocko.

She is survived by: her children, Roxene Jones (Belson) of Akwesasne, Alvin P. Cook of Akwesasne, Maggie Chaussi (Dennis) of Akwesasne, Toni Cook (Peter R. Terrance) of Akwesasne and Anastasia Benedict (Mike Jr.) of Akwesasne; her grandchildren, Marlene Nolan, Verna Hobson (John) and Richard Cook (Louise); and her siblings, Wallace Thompson (Lynn), Virginia Thompson, Rebecca Thompson (Timothy), Lisa Swamp (Mike), Roseanne Thompson, Geraldine Jacco-Jacobs (Dewey) and Donald Jocko. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be occupancy controlled with those attended required to observe social distancing and wear face coverings.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Tsiionkwanonhso: te Resident Activities Department.
