He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jr. Thompson and Elsie Thompson (Paul); and his siblings, Leslie, Clifford and James Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda Catherine Thompson; his children, Gina Thompson of Akwesasne, Curtis of Akwesasne, Louise Thompson of Akwesasne, Paul Jr. of Akwesasne and Wentine Thompson of Akwesasne; his grandchildren, Dakota, Vance, Vanna, Victoria, Skylar, Jordy, Karahkwiio, Shaydon, Karonhine, Ranekorhatsheriio and Keldren; his great grandchildren, Teharistiiaks, Xander and Carter; and his siblings, Harry, Loran, Marilyn, Larry and Dulsie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Due to COVID occupancy restrictions, his funeral ceremony will be held privately.
