She was predeceased by: her parents, Christie Smoke-Mitchell and Chirstie Smoke; her stepfather John Mitchell; her sister Margaret (Francis "Yogi" Lazore); and her mother-in-law Theresa Phillips.
She is survived by: her sister Motel; her husband Louis; her children, Helen Marie Jacobs of Akwesasne, Peter Adams of Akwesasne, Darlene Adams of Akwesasne, Ronald Howard Phillips (Karen Oakes) of Akwesasne and Raymond Phillips of Akwesasne; her grandchildren, Angel, Kaylee, Talon, Amanda (Corey), Adam, Aaron, Craig, Lauren and Stevie Ray; her great grandchildren, Avah, Coranda, Axton and Channing; and her brother Peter.
