We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2021, at the age of 79, Marie Ransom of Akwesasne, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Ransom and Margaret Ransom (Lazore); her grandson Brandon Cook; and her brother Angus Ransom. She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Wong of California, Jeni Terrance (Derek) of Akwesasne, Quinn Lazore (Holly Boots) of Rochester, Basil Lazore (Brittany True Love) of Cornwall Island and Jessie Ransom of Cornwall Island; and her siblings, Patricia, Catherine, Phyllis, Ivan and Harold Ransom. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
