He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney J. Rourke and Viola E. Rourke (Cook); his granddaughter Memphis Rain Carle; his siblings, Evelyn Rourke and Hubert Rourke; his parents-in-law, Louis and Irene King; and his sisters-in-law, Amy and Joanne King.
He is survived by: his pet Toby; his wife Tassie; his children, Maggie Rourke-Bay (Jamie) of Akwesasne, Sharlann Diabo (Jason Anderson), Arif (Tracie Rourke), Cara Diabo (Rusty Jonathan), Blake Diabo of Akwesasne and Hawi Diabo of Akwesasne; his grandchildren, Viola "Ieianerahsta", Evelyn "Katsitsiakatste", Savannah, Collin, Georgia, Lyten, Samuel, Benjamin, Tyran, Shaydon, Sakyah, Blakey, Jayden, Trevon, Trent and Kingsley; his great grandchild Kyson; his goddaughter Natasha Thompson-Barnes; his children, Buck Cook and Joanna Balcom; and his siblings, Cynthia Sawatis of Akwesasne, Marsha White of Akwesasne, Sandra Rourke of Akwesasne, Eileen Rourke (John McComber) of Akwesasne and Steven "Judgie" Rourke (Shelley) of Akwesasne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
