He is survived by: his wife Diana Sawattis of St. Regis; his children, Lucy Mitchell (Timmy) of St Regis, Lesley Lazore (Joshua David) of Snye, Wilfred Lazore (Beverly Chubb) of Hogansburg, Andrea Lazore (Kennedy Garrow) of St. Regis and Robert Sanke; his grandchildren, Kirbie, Kane, Orlan, Angel, Kaylee, Stance, Tokwie, Kelson, Iohahes, James, Kenny, Randy, Kiara, James Jr., Nola and Avis; his great grandchild Hazily Gabriel-Lazore; his godchildren, Farrah "Kawa" Delormier and Kelson Lazore; his siblings, Margaret Mitchell of Cornwall Island, Darlene Jacobs of Hogansburg, David Mitchell (Jackie) of Hogansburg and Larry Mitchell (Barbara) of Cornwall Island; and his brother-in-law Gabriel Cook (Nora). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Jimmy's name may be made to the Hogansburg American Legion or Hogansburg Akwesasne Volunteer Fire Department.
