It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darryl Lazare of Akwesasne, New York, born in Cornwall, New York, who passed away on June 13, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lazare and Bessie Lazare (Day); his son Devin Burns; his siblings, Harold Jacobs and Alice; and his brother-in-law Kevin Ivany.
He is survived by: his wife Sherril; his children, Colin Lazare (Stephanie), Ashton Lazare (Devin), Darryl Jr., Lauren and Lia Lazare; his grandchildren, Kendall, Keylin, Kayde, Kaya and Kyevin; his sister Vicky Thompson (Ron); his pets, Pepper and Rocco; his parents-in-law, Roger and Laura Thomas; his brothers, Christopher (Michelle Lazare), Sharlee Thomas and Shavon Thomas (Jordan); and also Beulah Terrance. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call at his home, 72 First Street, Kana: takon beginning 12:00 NOON on Wednesday until 2:00 PM Friday when funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM. *PLEASE NOTE THAT PER MCA AND SRMT COVID-19 PROTOCOLS, FACE COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES AT THE HOME VISITATION AND FUNERAL SERVICES.
