It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Rooney of Akron, New York, born in Warsaw, New York, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rooney and Eileen Rooney (Maher); and his sisters, Kathy Palmer and Patricia Cochrane. He is survived by: his children, David Rooney, Justin Rooney (Sarah) and Ryan Rooney; his grandchildren, Shawn, Bryan, Megahn, Jaycen, Hunter, Kelie, Molly and Connor; and his brother George Rooney (Billie Jean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
