It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Sowl of Akron, New York, born in Reedley, California, who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Stone and Adah Stone (Ragel); her husband Perry Sowl; and her sister Ruth Clarke. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Fuzi (late Craig) and Carole Schanley; her grandchildren, Alicia Zuydhoek (Greg), Perry Schanley, Arnie Ostapinski (Lisa), Jason Schanley, Christopher Fuzi and Corey Lynn Fried (Justin); her great grandchildren, Sofia Botticelli, Ava Botticelli and Aidan Plowe; and her sister Velma Gillis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
