He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert C. Tiedt and Eileen Tiedt (Scalzetta); his wife Debbie Tiedt (Kazmierczak); his children, Shanan Muscato (Joe), Christopher Tiedt (Heather), Mark Tiedt, Kelley Sims (Jason) and Andrew Tiedt (Holly); and his grandchildren, Charlie, Rory, Kinsley, Madelyn, Brody and Oliver. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
