Robert Wayne Mast Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2023, at the age of 89, Robert Wayne Mast of Akron, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Esther (Troyer); his daughters, Gwen Frey (Joseph), Faith Erb (late Joseph) and Abby Albrecht (Cliff); his siblings, Betty Hertzler (late Ray), Laura Wenger (Herbert), Doris Grove (late Cecil), James Mast (Cindy) and Chester Mast (Jerri); his grandchildren, Jason Frey, Julia Nigro (Daniel), Anna Kupferman (Benjamin), Allison Frey, Krista Mest (Pat), Victoria Bontrager (Wade), James Erb (Sara), Jennifer Froese (David), Laura Albrecht and Emma Albrecht; and his parents, Norman Mast and Virginia Mast (Smucker). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Mennonite Central Committee in honor of Robert would be appreciated. Donations to MCC can be made by mail or at mcc.org.
