She was predeceased by: her parents, Paddy Ground and Violette Ground (Sundown); and her siblings, Gilbert Ground Sr., Sam Ground Sr., Leroy Ground, Warren Ground, Fred Ground and Evelyn Jonathan.
She is survived by: her children, Morey Ground Sr., Sherri (Gerald Logan), Denise Abrams, Melanie Abrams (Woodrow III) and Terrell Jones (Shona); and her sisters, Andrea Ground, Lovella Parker and Loretta Ground. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
