She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Swarts and Viola Swarts (Egan); her son Walter "Bunk" Babiarz (Laurie); her husband Walter; and her brother William Swarts.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Babiarz and Lynn Roper (David); her grandchildren, Lisa, Allan, Amanda, Jeff and Jon; and her sister Marianne Rosenberg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
