With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Naomi R. Covert of Akron, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2025 at the age of 99. Though Naomi has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her daughters, Karen Keith (late Jim) and Judy Covert; her granddaughter Rebecca Spoonhour; and her parents, Herman Ewald and Ella Ewald.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Artico (Robert); and her grandchildren, Kristen Keith, Jeremy Keith (Jennifer Marquart) and Matthew Heppner (Jennifer).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ross Funeral Home of Akron (10 Eckerson Ave, Akron, NY 14001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Wolcottsville (6939 Wolcottsville Rd, Akron, NY 14001).
