With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn May Hollenbeck of Akron, New York, who passed away on April 26, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilyn May Hollenbeck to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Marilyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marilyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wagner and Mildred Brucker. She is survived by: her husband Trevor Glen Hollenbeck Sr.; and her children, Laverne Hollenbeck, April Hammond (late Gary), Trevor Hollenbeck Jr. (Jackie), Mary Socha (John) and Roger Hollenbeck (Lisa). She is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ross Funeral Home of Akron (10 Eckerson Ave, Akron, NY 14001). A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of floweres charitable contributions may be made in Marilyn's memory to the Wolcottsville Fire Company or St. Michael's Preschool.
