It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn A. Schmiedicker (Akron, New York), who passed away on November 17, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband William F. Schmiedicker; her children, Alan W. Schmiedicker (Susan Xinakes) of Solon and Betsy M. Tellgren Connors (Michael) of Springville; her brother Lanny J. Colby (Janis) of Corfu; and her grandchildren, Lauren Ortiz (Ryan), Erik, Mark Tellgren, James and Kate Marie Schmiedicker.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials to the Corfu-Pembroke Community Band, of which Mrs. Schmiedicker was an original member from 1985-2016.
