Lenore Abrams Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lenore Abrams (Akron, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Abrams; her parents, Sherry Poodry and Irene Poodry; and her siblings, Walter "Sam" Poodry and Mary Alessi.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Abrams (Gary Thomas) of Ithaca, NY, Robert of Basom and Terry of Basom; her grandchildren, E. Matthew Kuhn (Christie Fanton) of Oakland, CA, Eliot Thomas of Ithaca and Lauren Abrams (Jason Hollister) of Ithaca; her great grandchild Zoe Kuhn of Oakland, CA.; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Snyder and Patricia Abrams. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grandnieces and grandnephews.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Town of Alabama Fire Department, the Tonawanda Reservation Historical Society, and the Haxton Memorial Library, Oakfield, NY.
