The memory of Lawrence J. Weaver Jr. of Akron, New York, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores Weaver; his girlfriend Grace Kasprzak; his siblings, Regis (late Priscilla) and Mary Weaver; and his parents, Lawrence J. Sr. Weaver and Francis C. Weaver.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Meyers (Al), Jay Weaver III (Terese) and Mary McClellan (Donald); his grandchildren, Mollie (Robert), Christie (Thomas), Katie (Benjamin), Emily (Cory), Matthew (Ashley), Alyssa, Jessica, Kristen, Joshua (Ashley), Jason (Erica) and Taylor (Stefanie); his brother Vernon Weaver (Connie); and his sibling-in-law Gail Hicks (late Thomas). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home (13228 Broadway, Alden, NY 14004). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Newstead Fire Co. or the Wounded Warrior Project.
