He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Greer and Doris Greer (Mullett); his wife Edna (Bassanello); his siblings, Bobby Greer and Elsie Jacobson (Arthur); and his siblings-in-law, Naomi Greer, Albert Bassanello (Eva), Adolph Bassanello and Joyce Bassanello.
He is survived by: his children, Kirk Greer of Barnesville, OH and Karen Cupka (Jeff) of Wilbraham, MA; his grandchildren, Khristine Greer, Jeffrey Cupka, Kyle Cupka and Cameron Cupka; his brother John Greer; and his sisters-in-law, Anita Calnan (James) and Faith Bassanello. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hearts & Hands, 1412 Sweet Home Road, Suite 12, Amherst, NY 14228 or to the Akron Volunteer Fire Company.
