He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann Phelps Geddes of Umatilla; his children, John S Geddes III (Renee Geddes) of Tavares and Nadine Geddes Essary (Gavin Essary) of Parker, Texas; and his grandchildren, Kara Natale Sparks (Michael Sparks) of Mt Dora, Jarod Natale (Erika Nichole) of Umatilla, Christine Halbert Arnold (Jason Arnold) of Canton and Rachel Halbert Graf (David Graf) of Flower Mound, Texas. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Beyers Funeral Home (279 S Central Ave, Umatilla, FL 32784). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
