She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Hersee and Margaret Hersee (Tschachtti); her son Stephen Hansen; and her brother Kenneth Hersee. She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Mecklenburg and Elizabeth Hansen; her granddaughters, Julie Mecklenburg (Jess), Lisa Mecklenburg and Lori Caporoso (Mike); her great grandchild Sienna Marie Caporoso; her brothers, Robert Hersee (late Dwayne), Glenn Hersee (late Laura Jean), David Hersee and Thomas Hersee (Barbara); and her sister-in-law Anne Hersee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
