It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgeia Defoe (Akron, New York), born in Batavia, New York, who passed away on November 2, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Defoe; her mother Margaret Washburn-Starkweather; her brother Vern Washburn; and her daughter Dawn Defoe. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Scott (Pam) of Corfu, Donna Scott of Batavia, Diane Sheffer (Norman) of Caledonia, Debora Howe (Dave) of Corfu, Diana Cooley of Batavia and Lenora Shepard of Batavia; and her siblings, Pauline Dunlap of Georgia and Kerry Washburn of Chicago. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
