She was predeceased by: her brother Stephen Brucker; and her former husband James A. Morgan. She is survived by: her husband Edward Place; her sons, Timothy Morgan (Christine) and Patrick Morgan (Maryann); her grandchildren, James Morgan (Alyssa), Amanda Wilson (Lee), Samantha Morgan Urtz (Kate) and Claire Pitzonka (Robert); her great grandchildren, Autumn, Aaron Wilson, Bella, Remington Pitzonka and Aviaunna Kilmer; and her siblings, Ronald Miller (Glenda) and Brenda Baker (Edward).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to Trinity Lutheran Church, South Newstead is appreciated.
