It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sonia Georgina Vanderbilt of Airmont, New York, who passed away on June 26, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rueben Gomez and Georgina Gomez (Artze). She is survived by: her children, Charles Vanderbilt (Hope) and Rosy McCann (Brian); her grandsons, Alex Piedmonte (John), Charles McCann (Kelsey) and Brandon McCann (Mariel); and her great grandchildren, Harper and Jackson Piedmonte.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her honor to Meals on Wheels Programs and Services of Rockland (EIN: 13-2831197) who's senior programs brought her a lot of joy.
