It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara M. Leighton of Airmont, New York, born in Batavia, New York, who passed away on February 28, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bill; her daughters, Nancy Leighton, Margret Leighton of Airmont, NY and Debra Chicoine; her grandchildren, Christine Penza of Webster, Jeremy Maglio (Alexa) and Rachel Miller (Michaell); and her parents, Edward A. Spear and Marie H. Bleur Spear. She was also cherished by 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 there will be no prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
