He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosario Schepis and Gilda Schepis; his sisters, Carmela and Grace; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph and Frank.

He is survived by: his wife Lucia; and his grandchildren, Nicole Cilli (Nick), Danielle, Jessica, Erica, Leanne, Robert, Allison, Lindsay, Victoria and Abigail.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Meals on Wheels or Hospice of Rockland.
