Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Iola leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Mulwane and Waneita Mulwane; her husband LaVerne "Skip" Colvin; her siblings, Harold "Duck" Babcock and Viola Schmitz; and her stepgranddaughter Shannon Colvin.
She is survived by: her sister Sherley Saunders; and her friend Georgia Baker. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, step-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery.
