He is survived by: his wife Michelle; his siblings, Nancy Van Aken (Richard), Cyndi Marshall (Jim) and Michael Gaynor; his siblings-in-law, Laura Frederick, Debbie Vought, Wilton Vought (Sarah MacMillen), Joseph Vought (Becky) and John Vought (Lisa); his children, Patrick Gaynor (Jennifer) and Anne Gaynor (Brian DeChico); his stepdaughter Dannielle Yager (Carl); his grandchildren, Brooks, Maggie, Amanda and Kara; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Carmine, Kyleigh and Kaysen.
Throughout his career, he made significant contributions to the field of engineering, founding and/or leading several successful ventures including Gaynor Associates Inc., Gaynor Engineering, and Hawk Engineering.
