He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Resue and Elizabeth Cilley Resue Grimes; his wife Geraldine; his son-in-law Scott Sanford; and his sister Lois Hammond.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karamiya Sanford of Savona and Lucinda Howell (Darryl) of Hornell; his grandchildren, Darren Davis (Katie) of Buffalo, Joshua Howell of Canisteo, Kimberly Frazier (Zackary) of Canisteo, Kelsey Howell of Canisteo and Macayla Sampson (Ryan) of Rochester; his goddaughter Tammy Childers of Pennsylvania; his brother David Washburn (Cathy) of Rochester; his nieces and nephews, Dawn Brucie and Storm Cilley; and his friend Leslie Smith.
