She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard B. Root and Norma E. Root (Stickles); her husband Phillip D. Bennett; and her sister Shaon Lucas. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa (Steven Amidon) of Hornell and Norma (Jeff Hoffmann) of Addison; and her siblings, Richard W. Root (Carolyn) of Pekin, Gloria Jean Conner of Tamarac and Rhonda Gee of Tamarac. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the H. P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home - Woodhull (1607 Main St, Woodhull, NY 14898). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
