He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Gurnsey and Stella Gurnsey; his wife Faye B. Gosper; and his siblings, Winona Archer, Derold Gurnsey and Gayle Carr.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Kamataris of Lawrenceville, David Gurnsey of Wellsboro and Mark Gurnsey (Deb) of Addison; and his grandchildren, Jill Trimble, Allison Gurnsey, Dan Cain, Matt Ayers, Jessica VanWay and Nathaniel Gurnsey. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
