She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Aker and Beatrice Aker; her husband Harold Brouneus; her daughter Janet Lyons; and her siblings, Margie Guay, Angela Lapasnick, Joseph Aker and Richard Aker.
She is survived by: her children, Hal Brouneus (Florence), Nancy Merrill (Scott) and Chari Leleck (Michael); her son-in-law Jim Lyons; and her grandchildren, Matthew Callahan (Gina), Michael Callahan (Lili), Ashley Thomas (Jason), Melissa Krause (Jeff), Jessica Farino (Jay), Rebecca Lyons (Tony Meyer), Jeffrey Lyons (Heather), Jason Leleck (Beth), Tracy Schott (Ryan), Sarah Nichols (Jamie), Beth Wheat (David) and Amy Brouneus (Andy Tammaro). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena (51 Maple St, Addison, NY 14801).
