He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Benoit and Evelyn Benoit (Grosvenor); and his siblings, Paul, Herbert, Gordon, Donald and Ruth.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Duff of East Hodgdon, ME; his children, Ronald Benoit, Charlene Janz, Nancy Benoit and Gary Benoit; his grandsons, Dustin Janz (Megan) and Kyle Janz (Tamara); his great grandchildren, Emme Janz, Cameron Janz and Caleb Janz; and his stepsister Lois Morgan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
