He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandchildren, John Jr. (Meredith), Margaret Walbroel (Richard) and Jennifer Umlauft (Sean); his great grandchildren, Reid, Zachary, John and Allison; and his siblings, Alois and Josephine Pautler (late Daniel).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Buffalo Hospice Foundation.
