He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Briggs; his wife Carol Briggs; and his brother James. He is survived by: his mother Inez Briggs (Davis); his daughter Sara Lynn; his grandchildren, Hannah, Aidan and Amanda; his sister-in-law Elaine; and his siblings, Neil and Penny.
