He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Russell and Hazel Russell (Nemier); his grandson Nicholas LaVancha; and his brother Fredrick Russell. He is survived by: his wife Ramona G. Russell; his children, Franki Melchor (Steven) of Virginia, Jody LaVancha of Adams, NY and Christopher Russell of Amherst, NY.; his grandchildren, Michael Churchhill, Jamie Churchhill, Amy LaVancha, Alexis LaVancha, Jack LaVancha and Alex Russell; his great grandchildren, Emery, Hailey, Thomas and Eric, Jr.; his siblings, Leo (Louise Russell), William (Clara Russell), Randy (Julie Russell), Mary (Larry Clemons) and Rosemary (Louis Filippi); and his sister-in-law Amelia Russell of Syracuse, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
