He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Smith and Gertrude M. Smith (Marsh); his daughters, Julie Anne Smith and Amy Joy Eastman; his sister Lois Langworthy; his brother-in-law Fred Langworthy; and his cousin Leonard Marsh.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Smith Sr. (Sandy), Pam DuFresne, Bonnie Slater (Kevin), Michele Fedoro (Scott), James Smith Sr. (Bonnie), John Smith Jr. (Marianne) and Peter Smith (Cathy); and his grandchildren, Tom Jr., Stephan Smith, Angela Rich, Heidi Obrien, Karen Mikita, Kelly Tremmel, Kandi Kaiser, Brandon Slater, Constance, Silas Fedoro, Jim Smith, Hilary Shelmidine and Maria Smith. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
