He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Helen Dorpfeld, Sr. (Meyer); his siblings, Walter and Helen M. Holdridge; and his grandson Brian M. Daucher.
He is survived by: his wife Grace H. Dorpfeld (Birk); and his daughters, Grace Renee (Stettner), Jo Ann Dorpfeld-Buel (Tim McGinnis) and Nancy Dorpfeld (David Smith). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and a great great granddaughter.
