He was predeceased by: his parents, Mosely R. Carney and Hazel P. Penley Carney; and his sister Marcelle Ashe. He is survived by: his wife Janet M. Worden Carney of Accord; his children, Janet Kean of Wurtsboro and George B. Carney Jr. of Accord; his brother Larry Carney of Kingston; and his grandchildren, Kaytlynn Muller of Colorado Springs and Scott Kean of Wurtsboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
