It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eric C. Heins Sr. of Accord, New York, born in Kingston, New York, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Eric E. Heins (Ric) and Linda Heins; his wife Rosemarie; his children, Britney Blauvelt (Gerrit), Eric Heins Jr. (Toni), Lucas Quiles (Shannon) and Andrew Heins (Lexi); his grandchildren, Aydenn, Ethan, Abel, Remmi Heins, Brysen Southworth, LilyAnn, Josiah Blauvelt and Liam Quiles; his brother Curt Heins (Jennifer); and his brother-in-law Jason Gavurnik. He is also survived by other family members and many special friends.
To do so, he donated muscle and nerve tissue to Kennedy Disease research and in lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Eric's memory to Kennedy's Disease research as well.
